Burton Sailing Club offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment for learning to sail at the beautiful Foremark Reservoir in Derbyshire. Nestled in the heart of the National Forest, this RYA Training Centre provides an ideal setting for beginners and improvers alike, with excellent facilities surrounded by dramatic countryside just a short drive from Derby, Nottingham, Burton, Leicester, and Loughborough. As an RYA OnBoard Club with a strong focus on youth development, Burton SC runs a dedicated Youth Academy with regular sessions throughout the year. Beyond dinghy sailing, the club offers training in windsurfing, foiling, powerboating, and stand-up paddleboarding. With regular Sunday racing from March to December and Wednesday evening racing in summer, there's plenty of opportunity to put your new skills into practice in a supportive club environment.
