Barton Turf Adventure Centre is a family-run sailing school nestled on Barton Broad, the second largest of the Norfolk Broads and widely considered one of the best for sailing in the region. Located approximately 10 miles north of Wroxham, this welcoming centre offers RYA courses for sailors of all levels—from young people taking their first steps on the water to adults seeking advanced instruction. The centre provides a unique learning environment with access to a 7-acre private campsite and 14-acre nature reserve, making it ideal for immersive sailing experiences. Course offerings include dinghy sailing, powerboat handling, private one-to-one tuition, and shore-based courses including online VHF training with assessment. The restored Barton Broad offers excellent sailing conditions with approximately 2 metres depth and a 5mph powerboat speed limit, creating safe, peaceful waters perfect for building confidence.
