Bury Lake Young Mariners is an award-winning youth charity that has been introducing people to sailing for over 30 years. Nestled in the picturesque Rickmansworth Aquadrome in Hertfordshire, this welcoming club takes more than 7,000 people onto the water each year, making it an ideal place for beginners and improvers alike. Whether you're looking to get your children started with Junior Days from age 7, progress through RYA Youth Sailing Stages, or learn to sail as an adult through RYA Levels 1-3, there's something for everyone here. They also offer Stand-Up Paddleboarding, RYA Powerboat courses, and even instructor training for those who want to share their passion. With over 300 dedicated volunteers and a genuine focus on developing life skills through sailing, you'll find a supportive, inclusive community ready to help you take your first steps on the water or advance your skills further.
