Barry Yacht Club has been welcoming sailors to the South Wales coast since 1928, offering a friendly gateway to sailing whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced cruiser. Nestled at Jackson's Bay overlooking the Bristol Channel, the club provides RYA training courses alongside a vibrant community of sailors who enjoy everything from dinghy sailing to offshore cruising. What sets Barry apart is its welcoming atmosphere and stunning harbourside location. You don't need to own a boat to join—the club embraces newcomers eager to learn and provides mooring and storage for vessels of all sizes when you're ready to take that next step. Beyond sailing, members enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, rowing, and social events at the club's bar and grill with panoramic harbour views.
