Arun Youth Aqua Centre has been nurturing young sailors for over 40 years in Littlehampton, West Sussex. As a registered charity and RYA-recognised training centre, they specialise in introducing young people aged 8-18 to the joys of sailing in a safe, supportive environment on their lake facility. Whether your child is stepping into an Oppie for the first time or progressing through RYA Dinghy certification, AYAC provides all the equipment needed including dinghies and buoyancy aids. Beyond structured courses, they offer powerboat training, specialist short courses, and even International Certificate of Competence testing. The centre is run by dedicated volunteers who create a welcoming community atmosphere with social events, racing opportunities, and boat storage for members. It's an ideal place for young sailors to build confidence on the water and develop skills that will serve them throughout their sailing journey.
