Aberdeenshire Sailing Trust is a Scottish charity dedicated to getting young people out on the water across two beautiful venues in northeast Scotland. Based at Peterhead and Loch of Skene, they offer an excellent introduction to sailing and watersports in a supportive, community-focused environment. Whether you're looking to try sailing for the first time or want to progress through RYA qualifications, they provide a welcoming pathway. Their programmes include taster sessions, after-school sailing clubs, and summer holiday camps combining sailing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. For those wanting formal certification, they offer RYA Powerboat Level 2, RYA Safety Boat, RYA First Aid, and VHF Radio courses. With sessions tailored to suit the Scottish weather and waters, this is a fantastic place for young sailors aged 8-16 to build confidence and skills on the water.
