Chichester Harbour Federation brings together the vibrant sailing community of one of the South Coast's most beautiful natural harbours. Representing 39 organisations including 13 sailing clubs and 5 sailing schools, the Federation has been at the heart of Chichester Harbour's sailing scene since 1924. With nearly 12,000 registered boats calling this harbour home, it's a thriving destination for sailors of all levels. Whether you're taking your first steps into sailing or developing your skills as an experienced yachtsperson, the Federation's sailing schools offer comprehensive training in these sheltered yet exciting waters. The harbour is also famous for hosting Chichester Harbour Race Week — consistently the largest open dinghy race week in the UK — giving you the chance to be part of a truly special sailing tradition. The coordinated race programme and agreed code of conduct make this an excellent place to learn and progress your sailing abilities in a supportive, well-organised environment.
