About

Banff Sailing Club offers a wonderfully welcoming gateway to sailing on Scotland's stunning Moray Firth coast. This well-established club, celebrating over four decades of sailing excellence, brings together around 70 enthusiastic members from all walks of life. Their achievements speak volumes—the club was an RYA finalist for Club of the Year, and member Jane Bowie received the prestigious RYA Elizabeth MacKay Award for her sailing accomplishments. Whether you're completely new to sailing or looking to develop your skills, the club provides excellent opportunities through their two Hunter 707 keelboats available for learning and practice. They offer taster sessions to help you discover the joy of sailing, with plenty of scope for skill improvement and racing if you catch the bug. Based in the picturesque harbour town of Banff, with members also mooring at nearby Whitehills, you'll be sailing the beautiful waters of the Moray Firth—perfect for building confidence and experience in a supportive, friendly environment.
